Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center
Ironwood was contracted by Federal Realty Investment Trust (NYSE: FRT) to represent ownership for the redevelopment of a vacated Lord & Taylor department store within an existing shopping center. The goals included replacing the former store with something that would reposition this older retail center into a modern mixed-use project. Ultimately the team elected to pursue an approximately 215-unit multi-family apartment building, and Ironwood worked with FRT on project design and facilitated permits and approvals.
